    When it clicks off for the first time, try again. If the pump clicks off again, the tank is full. Wait 10 seconds for any fuel in the hose connecting the nozzle to the pump to drain back, then remove the nozzle from the car.     Overfilling the fuel tank causes damage to the evaporative emissions system in most cars. Fuel will flood the charcoal canister. You'll destroy the canister, making refueling nearly impossible, even if you use a funnel and fuel canister.

    The engine will also run like crap since it will be sucking raw fuel from the charcoal canister every time the purge valve opens. THere is even the possibility of fuel leaking out of the car. If the charcoal canister is full of gasoline, the next time you go the the gas station, the air displaced from the tank can push the fuel out of the canister and onto the ground. Yeah, I get what it is! Like that time you pretended the Giulia's turn signals wouldn't turn off ever.

    I've had a few people ask me about that in real life and it always makes me curse your name. The Giulia's turn signals are an utter nightmare, and I don't apologize for that at all. Horrible design deserves to be called out! Maybe I'm just used to them now, but I don't mind it too much.

    Seems like a case of fixing something that wasn't broken in the first place though. A half push for a lane change, and a full push for a turn, then it auto cancels after you turn the wheel. If it doesn't for some reason, a half push the other way cancels it.
