    Weekly tickets can be obtained from the parking kiosk next to John Baker House Kempston Road entrance. This requires visitors to park their car, then pre-pay for their parking at the machines located in the car park; you will thenbe given a ticket which you should display in your car.

    On entrance to the car park, visitors will be given a ticket, the barrier will lift, and you will be able to park. If you are unable to find a space within 10 minutes, you will be able to exit the car park without incurring a charge.

    Once this 10 minute grace period has elapsed, charges will apply. When you have parked your car, you will need to retain the ticket you were given. When you are ready to leave, you will need to insert the ticket into one of the pay machines, located in the lobby of the main reception area at Kempston Road. Once you have paid the parking charge you will need to drive to the barrier and insert your ticket in order to exit the car park. This is a pay and display car park. Blue badge holders attending the hospital can use any of the car parks free of charge with the exception of the Kempston Road visitor car park and Britannia Road staff and visitor car park.

    Bedford railway station, on the main line from London St. Pancras, through Luton to the East Midlands, is about half a mile from the hospital a minute walk or a short taxi ride away. A smaller unmanned station, Bedford St. Johns, on the Marston Vale line from Bletchley, is about a five-minute walk from the hospital.
