    Davis-Built Jeeps has taken charge to fixing up this Jeep for me. It is an 81 CJ7 with a Chevy small block v8, T transmission, fiberglass body, 4 inch.

The first CJ s had apparently been created by quick modification of the regular military MB, adding a tailgate, lower gearing, a drawbar , and a civilian-style canvas top.
