The basics, remove intake manifold and exhaust manifold well unbolt them. Take off valve cover and timing cover and crank pulley. Lock cams in place using a cam holding tool or else set the cam timing so that the valves are in the relax position. Unbolt head, replace head gasket and clean surface if you need to. Everything is the reverse remembering to line up the timing marks on the timing chain, cams and crank when you reinstall the timing chain.
